I wish I could find the exact issue this illustration is from, because I have never seen “Death” with this color pallete and apperance before. The blue tones add moodiness and depth along with the solemn expression

Introducing Daniel Hall, the reincarnation of “Death”
After “Death” was killed off, Daniel Hall was turned into a reincarnation through Death himself. Daniel is introduced as sort of the contrast of Dream, with quite literally a lightness to him additionaly with more compassion
